In Kumirmora area under Chanditalla police station of Hooghly district, two students suffered injuries in a road accident while returning home from school on Thursday. The incident occurred when a car collided with the toto they were riding in.
The injured students, Kundan and Vivek Sao, both in class IV and L-KG of a private school in Dankuni, were critically injured, leading to their immediate transfer to a Kolkata hospital for medical attention.
At present the police is investigating the matter. Toto was badly damaged in a road accident. Police reached the spot and removed the crashed Toto with the help of a crane.
